Piano Teacher and Professional Piano Instructor Carolyn Englert teaches piano lessons to children, teenagers and adults from the beginner level up through advanced level. From children or adults who are just learning their first musical instrument to students who have previous piano experience but are looking to expand their piano playing talents for scholastic music competitions, a college major in music or a goal of becoming a concert pianist, Carolyn’s piano teaching experience can accommodate all students.
Carolyn focuses on classical piano techniques, piano repertoire, sight-reading, music theory, rhythm and more. Piano lessons and instruction are structured for each student’s ability and goals.

Carolyn has over 30 years of piano instruction and music teaching experience that is anchored by her Bachelor of Music Degree in Education from The State University of New York at Fredonia and her Master of Music Degree in Performance from the prestigious Eastman School of Music. Her professional experience as a qualified piano and music instructor and teacher includes college level teaching at three colleges and universities with accredited music programs, and a long tenure with the Erie Philharmonic Orchestra and Erie Chamber Orchestra.

Carolyn Englert Music Studio has been teaching piano lessons for over 30 years and has been recognized consistently by the Pennsylvania Piano Guild over the last decade. Englert Music Studio has been sending piano students to the Pennsylvania Guild Auditions for over 20 years, which requires extraordinary efforts and accomplishment for each piano student, requiring learning and full memorization of 10 piano pieces to qualify for the National Program.
Carolyn is a long-time member of Music Teachers National Association, the Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association, and the Lancaster Music Teachers Association. In addition, she is a recognized “honor piano teacher” with the American College of Musicians/National Guild of Piano Teachers.
